This year, The Lenton Centre proudly celebrates its 20th anniversary as a community-led organisation, and we warmly invite you to be part of the celebration.
For two decades, The Lenton Centre has stood as a space for connection, wellbeing, and local empowerment. But the story of our centre goes back even further to a moment of real community determination.
In 2005, when the future of The Lenton Centre was uncertain, a group of passionate residents came together to save the building from closure. Thanks to their efforts, The Lenton Centre was purchased from Nottingham City Council for just £10, with a bold vision to transform it into a community-run hub. What began as a grassroots rescue mission has since grown into a thriving space for wellbeing, health, learning and support, serving people across Lenton and beyond.
A Day to Celebrate
To mark our 20th anniversary, we’re hosting a special community celebration, and we would love for you to join us:
