The TLC Academy promotes training and learning across all areas of life and for all people.
Program
ESOL
Wednesday 5:30 – 7 pm
ESOL games night is monthly on the second Tuesday 7 – 8:30 pm
ESOL is currently fully funded through a grant, when the grant ends there will be a cost of £3 per person
Lifeguard Training
Part of being a lifeguard it the monthly training to keep up to date with lifesaving techniques, we host lifeguard training twice a month.
Each sessions includes the first hour in the pool and a second on dry side training.
On your first session, please bring your NPLQ certificate, this will allow your training session to be added to Tahdah.
The training is provided by Sam from SAM Successful First Aid Management.

Spaces are limited to 12 attendees each session, this will be a mixture of lifeguards from The Lenton Centre and external lifeguards.
Booking is a must.
